Progress on a custom chair

Last week I made headway on the latest commission to go through the studio. This custom made captains chair is made from oak and made to specific requirements to ensure sufficient arm room for knitting activities whilst seated. The arm is made broader to allow for more elbow room and the seat has also widened to ensure the proportions in this chair are kept constant. Next week I will be sanding up all the components and fingers crossed, assembling it together with glue this time around.
