So here is the design of the bench with finished tapered spindles and a milk painted finish. The final step after confirming the details was for the client to choose a finish of their choice. They were looking for something modern to match their existing interior, choosing ‘Lantern’ (black) milk paint and oil. They will be upholstering the bench with some complementary fabric down the line when the bench is in situ. I will be starting this piece from February 2027, so there is time for them to reflect and make any final small adjustments if needed. Now it’s on to the next project…
